Astronauts prepare for two International Space Station spacewalks

Three International Space Station astronauts are preparing to conduct two spacewalks outside the orbiting laboratory on Tuesday 7th October and Wednesday 15th October.

NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore and Russian cosmonauts Alexander Samokutyaev and Elena Serova have successfully joined their Expedition 41 crewmates after flawlessly launching, rendezvousing and docking to the International Space Station.

NASA have confirmed that they will provide extensive televised coverage of the launch of Barry “Butch” Wilmore of NASA and Alexander Samokutyaev and Yelena Serova of the Russian Federal Space Agency, who will lift off to the International Space Station on September 25th.
