This is Reid Wiseman’s first photo from space.
Posted to his Twitter, the image shows the crew’s Soyuz craft docked to the International Space Station as it travels 260 miles above South Korea.
Seoul South Korea is shown in the lower right of the picture, while the Jeju Island can be seen in the upper right (the circle of lights).
The bright city lights below illuminate the craft and provide a spectacular backdrop.
A couple of hours after posting one spectacular image, Reid provided us with more.

He captioned the image: “I can’t stop looking outside! The Soyuz @astro_alex @msuraev and I arrived on”.
Later, another one appeared:

Looking at the Earth from the station’s cupola, Reid stated: “No ship has a better helm”.
We can not wait for more pictures from Reid and the new arrivals on the station.
