International Space Station cameras capture video of Hurricane Arthur

The Expedition 40 crew on board the International Space Station have captured some amazing images of Hurricane Arthur as the tropical storm prepared to make landfall over America, however the crew also managed to take an amazing video of the weather system as they travelled 260 miles overhead.

Hurricane Arthur has made landfall on the eastern coast of America, bringing high winds, powerful tidal surges and rain to inhabitants on the 4th of July, an American national holiday known as Independence Day.

260 miles above the Earth, and safe from Arthurs reach, is the Expedition 40 crew who have been tracking, monitoring and photographing the hurricane. Continue reading
