As much as half of Earth’s water could be older than the Sun

A ground-breaking new study has found that up to half of the water in Earth’s oceans could be older than the Sun and our solar system.

Water ice clouds discovered in distant brown dwarf

For the first time, astronomers have detected water ice clouds outside of our solar system in a newly discovered brown dwarf that’s believed to be as cold as the North Pole.

New images of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, taken by the European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft, show an amazing pair of jets vigorously expelling ice crystals, mixed with dust, from its nucleus.
