Houston is a very important location for NASA. The city hosts the Johnson Space Centre, the space agency’s hub for human spaceflight training and research, and it currently houses NASA’s Mission Control centre for the International Space Station. Therefore, its very fitting that NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman captured two amazing images of Houston, during orbital night-time, from the space station. Continue reading

SpaceX’s Dragon resupply craft returns to Earth after a month at the International Space Station

SpaceX’s third commercial resupply mission came to a close on 18th May as the Dragon spacecraft ended its 28-day stay at the International Space Station and parachuted into the Pacific Ocean. Continue reading
