Authorities approve Virgin Galactic for suborbital flight.

Virgin Galactic has signed an agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which allows the company to begin chartering sub orbital flights as early as August 2014. The agreement with US authorities outlines how the FAA will work with Virgin Galactic to ensure there is safe airspace for Virgin Galactic’s space plane, the SpaceShipTwo.
